Mr Chee joined the board on 1 September 2014. He was appointed as the Chairman of SIF on 27 April 2021 while remaining as a Non-Executive and Independent Director. He is the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and is also a member of the Audit and Loan Committees.
He previously served as a Director of Keppel Group Human Resource and Executive Director (Human Resources) of Keppel Offshore & Marine (Keppel O&M).
Mr Chee is a qualified accountant, who started as a trainee accountant with Keppel Shipyard in 1970. His career spans across various business units, from offshore and marine to engineering to finance. He held senior management positions in these units and was the Managing Director of Keppel TatLee Finance from 1997 to 2001. He was the General Manager of Keppel’s China Business before his appointment in Keppel O&M.
Mr Chee holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Singapore (now National University of Singapore). He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Mr Lee has served as Director of SIF since 20 February 1989 and was appointed its Managing Director / CEO in January 1997. He chairs the Loan Committee and is also a member of the Nominating and Risk Management Committees.
He was appointed the Director of the company’s subsidiary, Sing Investments & Finance Nominees (Pte.) Ltd in October 1983. Mr Lee is also a Non-Executive Chairman of Sing Holdings Ltd, a company listed on the SGX MainBoard.
Mr Lee was awarded the Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) in 1997 and Public Service Star (Bintang Bakti Masyarakat) in 2007. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, USA.
Mr Lee joined the company in 1986 and was appointed to the board on 19 March 1997. He was appointed as Deputy Managing Director on 1 July 2010 and is a member of the Loan and Risk Management Committees.
He currently oversees the company’s credit documentation & operations, credit control, finance, IT support, product management, HR and tenancy and building maintenance.
Mr Lee also serves in the boards of F.H. Lee Holdings Pte Ltd and Sing Investments & Finance Nominees (Pte.) Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii, USA and a Master in Accounting from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
Mr Lau joined the board on 2 January 2019. He is the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, Chairman of Nominating Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee.
Mr Lau is a Senior Managing Director, Advisory Services of Octagon Advisors Pte Ltd, a business and risk management consultancy company. Prior to joining Octagon Advisors, he was the Executive Vice President, International at United Overseas Bank, and Advisor to Asia Pulp and Paper Ltd. Mr Lau has held various positions at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). His last position at MAS was Senior Deputy Director (Development and Domestic Institutions). Mr Lau was also Senior Manager (Institutional Sales) at J M Sassoon & Company, a stockbroking company, and the Executive Vice President of the Central Depository (Pte) Limited (CDP), a subsidiary of the Stock Exchange of Singapore.
Mr Lau holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore. He is also a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst charter.
Mr Toh joined the board on 2 January 2019. He is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nominating Committee.
Mr Toh retired as a partner from Baker Tilly TFW LLP. He currently provides audit consultancy services and conducts training courses. He is a member of the Investigation and Disciplinary Panel of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Mr Toh is a fellow member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Ms Quan joined the board on 27 April 2021. She is a member of the Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee and Risk Management Committee.
Ms Quan is a highly respected senior bank executive with an outstanding track record built over more than 30 years in the industry. Her career experience spans across Corporate Banking (1987 to 1995), Investment Banking (1996 to 2011) and Private Banking (2011 to 2016), mainly in the risk management space. Ms Quan officially retired in year 2017 and presently provides consultancy advices on credit risk and governance matters on ad hoc basis.
Ms Quan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
