Role and Responsibilities

Sing Investments & Finance Limited is looking for a dynamic individual with team supervisory experience and track record in handling Credit Documentation to join its Management team. Reporting to Senior Management, the successful candidate is required to have a strong understanding of credit proposals to ensure covenants and T&Cs are monitored across credit agreements.

As the head of the department, you are expected to supervise various teams engaged in: –

  • Preparation of Letter of Offer and letter of release for loan accounts
  • Reviewing of credit and security documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies
  • Processing of car loan applications to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies
  • Liaising with relationship managers, lawyers, valuers, agents, dealers and insurance companies to ensure timely completion of documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with all the pre-disbursement and post-disbursement conditions
  • Creation of customers’ database
  • Placement of insurance policies

Overall, you would monitor the accuracy and efficiency of daily operations and ensure all credit/security/collateral documents are in order. You would also be responsible to verify and authorise facility limit implementation.

Requirements
  • Tertiary education
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in the Banking & Finance industry; 5 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Highly meticulous with critical thinking skills and resourceful in problem solving
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong writing and project management skills
  • Candidate who is legally trained would be an advantage

Responsibilities
  • Acquire and build a strong network of customers for loan products and credit facilities by providing one-stop financing solutions to SMEs/ large corporates including listed companies as well as personal mortgage loans
  • Develop new portfolio with an aim to achieve revenue and customer retention goals while increasing portfolio’s profitability through cross-selling and referral development
  • Achieve individual sales revenue targets
  • Analyse financial statements and structure credit facilities to ensure good credit quality/li>
  • Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Min Diploma level
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a lending environment and working knowledge of mortgage loans, hire purchase financing, receivables financing or other types of loans (e.g. property development, land & construction, invoice factoring)
  • Preferably with an established network of business contacts especially in the SME sector or tie-up with loan/ mortgage brokers. Strong ability to source and generate leads independently
  • Good understanding of financial analysis is preferred
  • Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter and team player

  • Perform loan account services related functions, including but not limited to, processing of audit-confirmation requests, GIRO applications, updating of customer and loan account details.
  • Participate in the on-boarding of customers for our newly launched corporate internet banking.

Requirements
  • Tertiary education with at least 1 to 2 years internal audit/ compliance experience eg regulatory compliance monitoring, testing and tracking
  • Experienced in developing, writing and implementing policies and procedures in reputable organizations/ government bodies
  • Have a strong understanding of Anti-money Laundering / CFT concepts, risks and controls
  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn new tasks, take on added responsibilities and build on skills-set
  • Strong writing/documentation and communication skills
  • Strong command of the English Language for writing policies and procedures and strategic initiatives
  • Meticulous, organised and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Independent and able to work in a team
